“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16

The Good News

God created man: Adam (the first man) and his wife Eve (the first woman). Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden after listening to the serpent; he convinced them to eat the forbidden fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.

After that sin, man was separated from God. We all inherit this sinful nature from Adam and Eve, which creates a separation from God who is Holy. This separation puts us in hell when we die—but God did not want that, because He loves us. So He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to live a life of no sin and die on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus was raised from the dead after three days and is alive forevermore. We can now choose Jesus as our Lord and Savior and have a relationship with Father God. The only way to get saved is by the blood of Jesus—accepting the sacrifice He made for us, repenting, and giving our life to Him.

For by grace are ye saved through faith. — Ephesians 2:8

A Prayer of Salvation

“Father God, I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I am a sinner, and I repent and turn from my sin. Jesus, I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Wash me clean by Your blood and come into my heart. I give my life to You. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith — the foundation of all we teach and live by.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God — written by men moved by the Holy Spirit — and is our ultimate authority for faith, life, and godly conduct.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 · 2 Peter 1:20-21 · Hebrews 4:12

The Triune God

We believe in one true and living God, the Great I AM, Creator of Heaven and Earth, eternally existing in three co-equal, co-eternal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:26 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14

God the Father

We believe God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all life, who lovingly adopts believers as His children, giving us identity and sonship.

Romans 8:15-17 · 1 John 3:1

Jesus Christ, the Son of God

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin and without sin, who came to redeem creation and reconcile us to the Father.

Isaiah 7:14 · Matthew 1:18-23 · John 1:1-5 · John 14:6

The Blood & Resurrection of Jesus

We believe Jesus died on the cross, bearing our sin and punishment, was buried, and rose again in victory with the keys of hell and the grave. He ascended to the Father and lives to make intercession for us. Only by His blood are we redeemed.

Matthew 12:40 · Colossians 1:14 · Hebrews 9:22 · Romans 8:34

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead — our comforter, counselor, teacher, and helper — who convicts the world of sin and empowers believers to be witnesses of Jesus.

John 14:16-17, 26 · Acts 1:8 · John 16:7-8

The Gospel & Salvation

We believe salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace through wholehearted faith and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ — believing He died for our sins and rose again — accompanied by genuine repentance.

John 3:16 · Ephesians 2:8-9 · Romans 10:9-10 · Acts 2:38

Baptism in Water

We believe water baptism is the outward declaration of dying with Christ and rising with Him in newness of life, uniting the believer with His death, burial, and resurrection.

Matthew 28:19 · Romans 6:3-11

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers believers to be witnesses to the nations, and that praying in a heavenly language is one evidence of being filled with the Spirit.

Acts 1:4-8 · Acts 2:1-4

Communion

We believe communion is the sacred participation in the body and blood of Christ, by which we remember His sacrifice and proclaim His death until He comes.

Luke 22:19-20 · 1 Corinthians 10:16-17

The Gifts & Fruit of the Spirit

We believe every believer is given gifts of the Spirit to minister to others and advance the Gospel, and that the true mark of a believer is the fruit of the Spirit reflecting Christ's character.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 · Romans 12:6-8 · Galatians 5:22-23

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is the ongoing work of God's grace that teaches us to walk in righteousness and purity, transforming us into the image of Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 · 1 Thessalonians 5:23 · Hebrews 13:12

The Great Commission

We believe it is the mandate of every believer to preach the Gospel, walk in the power of the Spirit, and make disciples of all nations.

Matthew 28:18-20 · Mark 16:15-18

The Church & Five-Fold Ministry

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, the temple of God through the Holy Spirit, and that He gave the five-fold ministry — apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher — to equip the saints for the work of ministry.

Ephesians 1:22-23 · Ephesians 4:11-15

Love

We believe in the power and necessity of love, for we are commanded to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Matthew 22:37-40 · 1 John 4:7-8

The Sanctity of Marriage

We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman, and that we are called to walk in holiness and purity before the Lord.

Genesis 2:24 · Hebrews 13:4 · 1 Peter 1:15-16

The Hope of Our Salvation

We believe in the resurrection of those who have died in Christ and their gathering, together with those who are alive, at the coming of the Lord — this is the blessed hope of our salvation.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 · 1 Corinthians 15:51-55

The Final Judgment

We believe there will be a final judgment in which all will be judged according to their works, and those not found written in the Book of Life will be separated from God forever.

Matthew 25:46 · Revelation 20:11-15

A New Heaven & New Earth

We believe the first heaven and the first earth will pass away, and God will create a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells forever.

2 Peter 3:13 · Revelation 21:1
